Welcome
As Minister for Aboriginal Affairs and Reconciliation I am pleased that the reviews of the Aboriginal Lands Trust Act 1966 and the Aboriginal Heritage Act 1988 are well advanced and will be concluded in 2012.
The ideas and proposals for change which the reviews have generated to date are confirmation that all sectors of the South Australian community are seeking to help Aboriginal South Australians.
I will shortly be announcing the next stage of consultations for both reviews and I look forward to your participation.
I encourage you to consider the review documents, contribute to the reviews and remain up-to-date with each of these important reviews.
